Security Consultant
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Job Description:
VIOPOINT is seeking a Security Consultant with a blend of technical expertise and a security background. We are seeking a candidate who is familiar with many security related technology products and can learn and implement technologies based on his or her past technical expertise. Additionally, service related experience in performing (or assisting with) risk assessments is also preferred (holistic assessments as well as vulnerability assessment and penetration testing). Ongoing responsibilities include working with other team members to implement security technologies as well as perform security assessments. This role will involve 30% to 50% travel (mostly local and to Midwestern states) to client sites to deliver projects.
Requirements:
- 5 years working within IT, 3 of those focused primarily on security
- CISSP certification or studying toward the CISSP is required
- Knowledge of several regulatory compliance mandates such as HIPAA, SOX, and best practice control frameworks such as COBIT and ISO 17799
- Familiarity with Imprivata’s OneSign solution and/or Imperva SecureSphere is desire

Disaster Recovery Consultant
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Job Description:
VIOPOINT is seeking an experienced disaster recovery consultant capable of leading Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity projects. Projects will encompass all aspects of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning and the applicant’s knowledge base should span the entire life-cycle. The consultant will be responsible for working with our team to help meet client success factors and also be responsible for taking the lead with regards to information gathering, writing the plan, and providing test and maintenance plans for our clients.
Requirements:
- 8 years of information security experience with 3 of those years focused primarily on Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
- Knowledge of all facets of DR/BCP planning including short-term technology recovery and longer term business resumption planning
- Experience with information gathering and the ability to understand the impact of recovery efforts to the business as well as constructing and writing of the plan
- Plan testing (walk through, table-top testing) and maintenance experience is mandatory
- Experience with mission critical environments is preferred
- CISSP, DRI and other relevant certifications are desired
- Strong interpersonal skills with regard to interfacing with stakeholders and overall interaction with the client
- Excellent writing skills
